Overview

Between Roots and Rebellion brings together the works of ten multidisciplinary artists who challenge conventional narratives. This exhibition oscillates between reverence for the deep-rooted traditions of culture and art and a desire to subvert and transcend these structures.

Materials and forms are manipulated to confront the viewer’s perception, merging myth with modernity, and the intimate with the universal. From contemplations of natural and built environments to critiques of societal norms, the artworks engage in a dialogue that is at once introspective and outward-facing.

Between Roots and Rebellion ultimately serves as both a reflection and a reckoning, where the past is not simply preserved but actively reshaped. It is in this liminal space, teetering between the weight of roots and the fire of rebellion, that the artists chart new possibilities for understanding who we are and who we aspire to be.
