Biography

The problem with the human is that it continues to think and assert that it is special in the universe, that none out of all other possible outcomes would have been as perfect as organic life, that its fleeting presence in a timeline of incomprehensible length has somehow been pre-calculated in the unfathomable vastness of the cosmos, of which it yet has only an infinitesimal knowledge. I know of no greater narcissism than this.
