Working Class Hero

We are delighted to end the year with a solo exhibition of sculptures by Casim Mahmood titled ‘Working Class Hero’ at Ejaz Art Gallery. It is the first comprehensive exhibition of Mahmood’s practice that spans over two decades.

By developing a unique style of transforming metal scrape into human figures, Casim depicts the everyday struggles of the working class. Through this show, we commend the struggles of our heroes who work tirelessly, often sacrificing their mental and physical health to provide for their family and livelihoods.
