In my landscape paintings, both urban and rural. The main focus is always the light. Traditionally, a focal point takes the leading role and grabs the eye, but in my opinion, light is what dominates and provides the painting with a feeling of luminosity and a genuine sense of atmosphere. I always choose to present my work in hearty and dynamic bold strokes, vibrant colors, and textured highlights with an overall reliance on lines and forms to give it a distinctive nature under the manners of abstract expressionism.
